Charity Carp Fishing Fundraiser

EACH

As in previous years, Angling Direct Norwich is going head to head with Phoenix Gym in an epic carp fishing match. This time the match will be raising funds for both the East Anglian Air Ambulance service and the East Anglian Children’s Hospice (EACH). Last year the teams managed to raise a staggering £3,620 and they hope to reach and beat this figure this year. However, it’s not just the charities that will be benefitting – the team’s reputations are on the line, too! Last year Angling Direct Norwich was faced with a rather embarrassing blank compared to Phoenix Gym’s 90lbs, so the shop will be fighting to regain its reputation as the superior angling team!

The match will be held at Bridge Inn Lakes, Lenwade, running across Saturday 8th October and Sunday 9th October. The teams will be holding a raffle with donated prizes in order to raise money for the EACH and the East Anglian Air Ambulance. Tickets are £2 and are available to buy from Angling Direct Norwich – as well as directly from the competitors listed below. There will also be a barbecue at the lake on Saturday evening, with all proceeds going towards the charities. The Bridge Inn pub on site will make sure that there are plenty of refreshments available, too! All are welcome to come and join in the festivities!

Team AD
Nathan Highley (Captain), Stephen Crowe, Barrie Channon, Scott Kingsley, Andrew Hull, and Richard Wells.

Team Phoenix
Stuart Chase (Captain), Ryan Gardner, William Kelly, Andy Knights, Daniel Muskett, and Jack Muskett.

All proceeds from the weekend will be spilt 50:50 between the East Anglian Air Ambulance and EACH. Both teams would like to thank you in advance for your continued support and they look forward to seeing you on the banks of Bridge Inn Lakes.
